PLEASE NOTE: Unlike standard ATA drives, Serial ATA drives DO NOT require the use of jumpers to configure the drive. Please disregard any references to jumper settings and Master, Slave and Cable Select configurations in the Installation Guide.

SATA Interface Cable Requirements: 7-pin Serial ATA interface cable (Gen. 1- or Gen. 2-compliant) up to 1 meter in length.
