As a manufacturer and importer/exporter, it is the duty and legal obligation of Seagate and its employees to comply with the various international trade regulations. There are certain countries and entities that require prior government authorization before exports can take place, and certain countries and activities where exports are entirely prohibited.
Seagate and its employees are prohibited from transacting any type of business with the following countries and regions:

- Seagate and its third-party service providers cannot accept product returns from any of the embargoed countries listed above.
- Seagate and its third-party service providers cannot provide any services to you if you are located in any of these embargoed countries.
- Seagate and its third-party service providers are not responsible for product returns from these countries.
- Do not return Seagate products to Seagate nor its third-party service providers if you are located in any of these embargoed countries; the product cannot be returned and will be destroyed.
In addition to the countries noted above, Seagate is unable to process your return for the following countries. Please contact the place of purchase for product technical support and warranty returns.
Seagate will not accept returns from, or provide replacement units to, any person, company or entity that is included in the U.S. Government’s Consolidated Screening List. Please do not send any item to us, or expect to receive any item from us, if you or your company or entity is included on the CSL.
The provisions of this notice are subject to change at any time for reasons beyond the control of Seagate. Seagate reserves the right to update this notice in its sole discretion and at any time. Any updates to this notice are effective immediately. You should regularly review this notice for updates that Seagate makes to this policy.
