The Ethernet Disk Mini v2 and Ethernet Big Disk OS may not see an external drive due to a missing or corrupted partition table. The software will not display the disk as usable until there is a partition table applied to the disk. The solution is to format the drive on a Windows or Macintosh computer. Once the drive has a working MBR or Apple Partition Map applied, it will show as an available disk, and automatically map to a share.
